Our Founder

Meet our leader, Michelle Frey. She bought TAK, previously known as Hermann & Associates back in 2016 and has been building its value ever since.
Michelle has a different view from the normal tax professional - she started her career in the corporate sector and was lucky to be involved in all parts of the business including sales & financial analysis, brand marketing, product development, systems implementation and business sales. Having experience with companies such as Lion Nathan, Foster's Wine Division, Nestle, Cadbury Schweppes and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Michelle can easily pull apart complex information and devise a strategy for her clients.
Michelle’s passion is passing on her knowledge to people who share in similar ambition and tenacity to adapt business, for better.
When she’s not busy helping her clients, Michelle looks after her small team of horses and tries to perfect the art of dressage.

Lucy, who runs our administration, always goes above and beyond to help our clients with the most lovely attitude you could find.
Daphne, our Senior Tax Manager, takes pride in producing the highest quality work while understanding the commercial aspects
of running a small business.
And Nicah, our Tax Accountant, is smart as a whip and not much gets by her.
